Indoor air quality decisions are better when they are based on continuous data rather than a single handheld reading or a subjective impression.
Atmocube can establish a baseline before changes are made, then track measurable parameters after ventilation, filtration, HVAC operation or an air-treatment system is adjusted.
That makes it a natural complement to PurAire’s remediation systems: measure the problem, take appropriate action, and then check what has changed.
Atmocube is priced lower than competitor’s models, yet is extremely accurate, self calibrating and can easily interface with any building’s BMS system.
Atmocube is a wall mounted or desk-mounted indoor environmental monitor for commercial and residential buildings. It continuously records air-quality and comfort data and makes those readings available locally, through its free, WIFI enabled dashboard, or through BMS and MODBUS integrations.
The BF2-E is manufactured by ATMO. PurAire and ProMedUSA supply and support the Atmocube locally.
The current ATMO technical documentation lists the following parameters that it measures. Readings are updated at one-minute intervals.
| Parameter | Range | Published Accuracy |
|---|---|---|
| Carbon Dioxide (CO2) | 0 to 5,000 ppm |
±50 ppm + 2.5% of reading at 400–1,000 ppm; ±50 ppm + 3% at 1,001–2,000 ppm; ±40 ppm + 5% at 2,001–5,000 ppm |
| PM1 and PM2.5 | 0 to 1,000 µg/m³ | ±(5 µg/m³ + 5% of measured value) at 0–100 µg/m³; ±10% above 100 µg/m³ |
| PM4 and PM10 | 0 to 1,000 µg/m³ | ±25 µg/m³ at 0–100 µg/m³; ±25% above 100 µg/m³ |
| TVOC index | 1 to 500 index points | Device-to-device variation: less than ±15 index points or % of measured value, whichever is larger |
| TVOC | 0 to 3 ppm | 15% of measured value |
| NOx index | 1 to 500 index points | Device-to-device variation: less than ±50 index points or % of measured value, whichever is larger |
| Formaldehyde (CH2O/HCHO) | 0 to 1 ppm | ±0.02 ppm or ±20% of measured value, whichever is larger |
| Temperature | -40 to +125 °C | ±0.5 °C; performance can vary with air movement |
| Relative Humidity | 0 to 100% RH | ±2% RH |
| Atmospheric Pressure | 300 to 1,200 hPa | ±1 hPa |
| Light Intensity | 0 to 60,000 lux | ±10% |
| Background Noise | 30 to 100 dB | ±2 dB |
Atmocube also calculates an indoor air quality index from its sensor readings. The index is a calculated value, not an additional physical sensor.
The Sensirion SPS30 PM2.5 sensor used in Atmocube has passed MCERTS performance testing for indicative ambient particulate monitors.
Atmocube is listed by RESET as a RESET Air Grade B accredited monitor. RESET Grade B monitors are building-grade devices tested for consistency and performance and are accepted for use in RESET Air projects.
Atmocube carries the Works with WELL mark from the International WELL Building Institute.
Works with WELL is a licensing mark showing that a product or service has been validated as aligning with one or more WELL strategies. It is not the same as WELL Certification, which applies to buildings, spaces and organisations.
RESET Grade B accredited monitors are recognised in current green-building pathways for continuous indoor-air-quality monitoring, including LEED v5. WELL also permits qualifying continuous monitoring approaches for applicable performance features.
The exact points or credits available depend on the rating-system version, the project’s measured performance, device placement, reporting and the consultant’s submission. PurAire can provide the technical documentation required for project review.
Atmocube supports continuous local and remote data access for facilities teams, consultants and researchers.
Atmocube sensors use automatic self-calibration, cleaning and data-normalisation algorithms to support long-term stability without routine manual adjustment in normal operation.
That does not mean every project is exempt from calibration requirements. WELL, RESET, regulated research or other project specifications may require periodic performance checks, recalibration or sensor-module replacement.
A separate bluetooth e-paper display can show selected Atmocube readings where occupants or visitors should be able to see current conditions without opening an app or dashboard.
The display measures 99 x 94 x 14 mm, has a 400 x 300 pixel screen, and runs on four replaceable CR2450 batteries. ATMO states battery life of up to one year at a 15-minute refresh interval.
Typical locations include lobbies, meeting rooms, waiting areas, gyms, classrooms and shared offices.
Atmocube pricing depends on the number of monitors, network configuration, BMS integration requirements and whether the optional display or extended cloud services are required.
PurAire and ProMedUSA provide local sales and technical support. The Atmocube carries a one-year warranty.
Tell us how many spaces you need to monitor and how you want the data delivered, and we will recommend a deployment and provide a quotation.
Atmocube is an indoor air quality monitoring platform designed to measure and track environmental conditions in occupied buildings. It provides data that can help facilities teams understand indoor air conditions and identify trends over time.
Atmocube can measure multiple IAQ parameters, including core indicators such as CO2, PM1, PM2.5, PM4, PM10, TVOC, NOx index, Formaldehyde, Temperature, RH, Atmospheric Pressure, Light and Background Noise.
The sensors use automatic self-calibration, cleaning and data-normalisation algorithms for normal operation. However, WELL, RESET or other project requirements may still require periodic performance checks, calibration or sensor-module replacement.
Yes. Atmocube supports web/mobile dashboard options, data export and network integrations. It also supports MQTT, Modbus and REST API workflows, depending on the deployment.
Yes. Atmocube is intended for ongoing indoor environmental monitoring rather than occasional spot measurements. Continuous data can reveal trends and changes that a single handheld measurement may miss.
Yes. Atmocube supports Modbus RTU, Modbus TCP and MQTT, with BACnet available through a gateway. Interfaces include Wi-Fi, Ethernet and RS-485.
Yes. Atmocube is RESET Grade B accredited and carries the Works with WELL mark, and RESET Grade B monitors are recognised in current green-building monitoring pathways. Actual credits depend on the rating-system version, project performance, monitor placement, reporting and consultant assessment.
Atmocube supports local-network and protocol-based integration, including MQTT and Modbus, as well as on-device storage. Confirm the exact data-access architecture and any plan requirements when the system is specified.
No. The BF2-E configuration described on this page does not measure ozone or carbon monoxide.
No. Atmocube carries the Works with WELL mark. Works with WELL is an IWBI licensing programme showing alignment with specific WELL strategies; it is not WELL Certification of the product.
RESET’s current terminology is RESET Air Grade B accredited monitor. Atmocube is listed in the RESET monitor directory as a Grade B accredited monitor.
Tell us the building type, number and size of spaces, which parameters matter to your project, and whether you need cloud access, local data, BMS integration or the e-paper display.
We will recommend the number of Atmocubes, advise on placement and provide a project quotation.
