The aircon already moves air throughout the room — so it is a logical place to introduce continuous air treatment.
Ceiling cassette and split air-conditioning systems continuously recirculate room air. Musty or mildew-related smells can originate within the air-conditioning system itself, while tobacco, food, body and other occupancy odours can persist elsewhere in the room.

PurAire SG-Mini-5A
The SG-Mini-5A is specifically designed for installation inside existing ceiling cassette and wall-mounted split air-conditioning systems.
It uses the aircon’s own airflow to distribute bipolar ions into the room, helping reduce persistent musty and mildew-related odours, tobacco smoke, food smells, body odours and other everyday room odours.
A built-in airflow switch allows the ioniser to operate with the air-conditioning system, while three-level ionisation control allows output to be adjusted for the application.

The SG-Mini-5H/V provides the same compact 80 mm ionisation tube in horizontal or vertical configurations for applications where installation orientation or available space within an FCU, duct or ventilation system requires greater flexibility.
It is primarily intended for FCU, HVAC and supply/discharge air applications rather than being the standard choice for a wall-mounted split aircon.
