Each result below names the laboratory that ran the test, the standard it was run to, the size of the chamber, how long it ran, and which model was tested. Where a certificate applies, the certificate number is there so you can verify it in the issuing body’s own database rather than taking our word for it.
We don’t publish figures we can’t stand behind. That makes this page shorter than some you’ll see.
The PurAire SG- BPI-2, also sold as the SG-FCU-2, holds a UL Environmental Claim Validation for zero ozone emissions.

What this covers: The validation applies to the BPI-2 / FCU-2 (model PS-502T). It does not cover the BPI-1, the PurAire DUO or the AirPro-MAX. Those models are not covered by this certificate and we don’t claim they are.
These tests were run on the PurAire SG-BPI-1, (model PS-501T). The SG-BPI-1 is the single-tube version of the same unit as the SG-BPI-2. Both were tested by accredited laboratories in China on samples submitted by the manufacturer that builds our units.

The standard sets 99.90% as its threshold. Bacillus subtilis spores came in below it, at 99.05 to 99.09%.
Spores are built to survive. They are harder to reduce than ordinary bacteria, which is exactly why they get tested — they show you where the limit is. Five of the six organisms cleared the threshold comfortably. The sixth did not, and we publish it because leaving it out would misrepresent what the panel actually found.

One note on this test: JG/T 294-2010 works out the test duration from the unit’s rated airflow, which for this model comes to five hours. The test ran for four. The laboratory recorded the difference and confirmed the result holds for the conditions tested.
Every figure above was measured on one model, in a sealed chamber, under laboratory conditions. A real room is not a chamber. Ceiling height, air movement, how often the door opens and what’s producing the odour or contamination in the first place all change what you’ll see in practice.
Test results describe the sample tested. They are not a performance guarantee for your building.
When a building or a site needs measuring, we engage TÜV SÜD Singapore. They are SAC-SINGLAS accredited for formaldehyde, TVOC, PM2.5 and respirable suspended particles.
They conduct the audit. They write the report. It carries their name, not ours.
Where a client would rather engage and pay them directly, that works too.
The measurement and the fix are done by different people. An accredited laboratory measures. We correct what the measurement found. The laboratory verifies.
PurAire units are built to our specification by our manufacturing partner in Shenzhen. They commissioned the tests above and have authorised us to cite them. The reports carry the manufacturer’s own brand and model numbers, which is why PS-501T and PS-502T appear on this page alongside the PurAire names.
Every figure below comes from an accredited third-party laboratory, tested in a sealed chamber over a stated duration.
